The Municipality of Red Lake has an open position of:

Fire Chief & Chief Building Officer

Full Time

 Excellent benefit package and OMERS pension plan

Summary of Position: This is a dual role which the individual will lead all aspects of the fire department as well as, carry out the mandates under the Building Code Act (BCA) by ensuring full compliance with the Act and all other applicable laws including zoning by-laws.

Must possess a valid DZ driver's license and current CPR First Aid certificate.

Summary of Position: Develop, implement and oversee comprehensive plans and policies related to land use, zones, designations, resource management and community development within the Municipality. 

Must possess a University degree in Urban Planning, Geography or a related field and a valid Ontario Driver's license.
